Assistant/Apprentice Position Info:

We are currently looking for serious candidates who are interested in making a career in the industry. We are interested in individuals that are cheerful, self-motivated, enjoys interaction with people, willing to go the extra mile, works well with peers, goal oriented.

Our training program encompasses all phases of salon work and introduces assistants to training classes and on the job mentoring.

What we expect from you:

• A learning attitude 

• Current PA Cosmetology license or enrolled in a reputable Cosmetology school 

• Love for the Aveda brand and Mission

• Willing to perform Aveda value-added services including hand/arm massage, scalp massage and the Aveda stress relieving treatment.

• Team oriented, able to work well with other team members

• Willingness to attend advanced education classes that are provided by the salon

• Currently using or willing to use social media as a means to promote yourself and the salon

• Ensure a safe and sanitary work area adhering to all state board requirements and salon standards

• Able to handle constructive criticism

• Put the customer needs first
